The Heidelberg Project is an outdoor art project in Detroit, Michigan. It was created in 1986 by artist Tyree Guyton and his grandfather Sam Mackey as an outdoor art environment in the McDougall-Hunt neighborhood on the Detroit's east side
In Detroit take 75 to Gratiot Ave, Continue on Gratiot for about a mile, Heidelberg Street will be on the right. Turn right onto it and follow straight. You'll soon enter the Heidelberg Project!
