Ginnie Springs is a highly popular privately owned spot for a swim and scuba diving. You can do all sorts of outdoor activities including camping and canoeing. There is an onsite dive shop that offers scuba diving training for the inexperienced.


Ginnie Springs Outdoors is located about 15-minutes west of I-75 and is easy to arrive to. If you are visiting Orlando you are within 2-hours of this amazing spot, definitely worth the drive!


Ginnie Springs is a privately owned park in Gilchrist County about 6.5 miles (10.5 km) northwest of High Springs, Florida, USA. It is a located on the south side of the Santa Fe River, to which it is connected. The water is clear and cold and there are accessible caverns with a sand and limestone bottom.

Ginnie Springs is a popular destination for scuba diving, snorkelling, canoeing and camping. There is an onsite dive shop offering PADI scuba diving training. This is a source for bottled spring water.

Nestle was granted permission to take over 1.1 million gallons daily from the aquifer that feeds Ginnie and other nearby springs. This has sparked a global outcry.
