Milford Sound is a fiord in the south west of New Zealand's South Island, within Fiordland National Park, Piopiotahi Marine Reserve, and the Te Wahipounamu World Heritage site. It has been rated as being one of the top tourist destinations in the entire world!
It is quite easy to arrive at Milford Sound. Most tour buses depart from Queenstown or Te Anau. It is about a 5 hour drive. Once at Milford Sound you have many options of travel for exploration, from helicopter tours to tour boat rentals!
