Sliding Rock is a 60 foot natural water slide that ends in a 8 foot deep pool of water. There are 2 observation platforms, and is staffed during the season. This is a heavily used recreation area, come early. Restrooms are open daily Memorial Day - Mid August.


From Brevard, North Carolina take US 64 E to US 276. Turn left and then follow US 276 N for approximately 8 miles. You will see the location on the left.

Sliding Rock is a waterfall in Western North Carolina, located near Brevard, so named because visitors can slide all the way down the waterfall into the plunge pool below.
